« on: November 11, 2007, 05:00:11 PM »
sirs, question lng po, where can i get manfrotto tripods, hindi kasi ako makakita e,nakakita lng ako nung may event sa vmall e, but that time i still don't have a cam and budget is quite low, but now i'm looking forward to getting my first tripod, so invest na ako sa good brand para hindi na magpapalit, and how do i choose a tripod pala?what things should i take into mind in buying a tripod?

choose the 055 or 190 series. even if you upgrade to a d3 or d300, ok pa rin.

FYI, you can call them up to save time if there no stocks.  Tel.  810-7616 Look for Kuya Paul.

Btw, I called last week and their new stocks will arrive next year.

i'm planning to get the 190XPROB and 486RC2 ball head.  no stocks yet sa Island Photo.  Infomax is selling the 190XPROB for P7,200.  The 484RC2 is around P2,900.

Eto na quote ko sa IslandPhoto last week

190XPROB 4945
484RC2    2200

So pwede mo pa siguro tawaran yang sa Infomaxx.

FYI, most of their stocks will be coming in next year pa daw.  Lalo na yang mga sikat na items and all ballheads daw.

Sa Infomaxx, never tried buying from them usually kasi overpriced.  But they do have some items na sila lang meron.

Good luck hunting!

This may be a little off the topic but I am also interested in getting a manfrotto tripod. Since the stocks will be coming in next year(ang tagal), does any body know if the prices in Singapore are cheaper compared to the ones here(will be there this Dec)? Thanks in advance for any answer.

Thanks for the reply sir Jomarmanto.
With your answer and the answers of sir nissin and Raman regarding the prices, I think I will be able to canvass enough in Singapore to be able to decide if I will buy the tripod there or wait for the stocks to arrive next year. (Baka may additional dicount during the Photoworld Asia 2008 this January  :D )
