Beach Wedding

mga sirs,
a friend will be having his wedding on a beach resort this sat at 4pm and reception will follow immediately. of course i will be taking my cam for some souvenier shots.
i know the light will be changing very quickly at this hour of the day. may i get some advice and tips on camera settings and what scene to get and watch out for?
i am afraid the event will be over before i get some good shots. :)

1st wedding i did for a friend was a beach wedding at puerto galera. it was also done in the afternoon.
i shot using film and in P or A mode. had the flash in TTL mode. http://www.photos.ph/ogre/delicious
tip:because of the weather, just prepare for rain, you'll never know. and if in case you're in an island, prepare to get stranded. we got stranded in puerto galera for several days. i was homesick and nothing to shoot
