D7000, D3200 or 650D? For Video...
« on: July 06, 2012, 03:04:30 PM »

Hello piphols!
I'm planning to get a middle priced Dslr that will mainly be used for Video shoots.
And I'm torn as to which to get among these choices:

D7000, D3200 or 650D?

Need your help!

Thanks

for me, 650D since the tiltable LCD will be a great plus on Video
A photograph is like a joke, if you have to explain it, its just isn't that good...

kung pang video, i think go with 650D. big advantage yung titled screen at hirap akong mag video sa mahirap na angle pag sa d7000 eh.

Go with the 650D. I have a D7000 and I'm not really happy using it for video. And the tiltable screen is really handy especially if you use sliders or want low and high angle shots.

Kung video lang naman ang paguusapan, why not the GH2? Meron akong nakitang for sale na GH2 sa FS.Mas madaling gamitin at maganda kumuha ng video compared to any DSLR available. Yon sa tingin ko pero some may not agree but that is my observation.

GH2 is great for videos! fast live view af acquisition. Maski hybrid AF ng 650D will still be hard pressed to compete against GH2's AF Speed!

Another vote for the 650d. Continous video in af will really come in handy.

Thank you guys for the inputs! :)

Will check on the GH2.  Been browsing around for reviews on the 650D, aside from the tilting LCD of the 650D, how's the video quality? Does it have full manual control?

+1 for 650D. Syempre may full manual control yan including audio adjustments. Mas ok talaga sa video pag tiltable ang screen. :D
Practice makes perfect.

yes, it does have full manual control.  i suggest you read dpreview's preview of the 650D.  there's a lot of info there that you might find helpful in your decision.

Mukhang promising nga ang GH2 retina!
Anyone knows, Where the GH2 is available here in Manila aside from our FS. And how much?
Also liked the 14-140 lens that goes with it.

Hi guys! I've been browsing, is there any overheat issues on the 650D when shooting videos?
And what is its max time limit per clip?
