Mama Mia! I was actually thinking of getting that 28mm as well. How much did you get it?

Hi Tony - which macro lens are you using? DOF is pretty thin at 1:1 ratio.

i use the 105f2.8. the use of a large aperture/thin DOF is intentional actually...:)

Hi Sir do you have sample portrait photos na handheld ang kuha thanks! Sabi ng isang friend ko that the D800 is not that sharp compared sa d700 and d3s. They say it lacks the punch to photos. Do you have any reactions to this thanks!!!

in my opinion, the ability of the D800 to take fantastic shots lies on the quality of the lens and the technique of the photographer. he must pay attention to limit camera shake specially when taking handheld shots. if he can post his photos with the exif and type of lens, maybe we can find out what happened.

I couldn't agree more. In most cases, shots that were taken poorly were caused by the operator due to poor technique and lack of familiarity on how to use their camera. The D800 requires you as the operator to carefully think about your composition and apply the best possible technique in using the camera. It is a slightly different from the D3s or D700.
