Mand Camera  Repair Shop (owned by Mandy). I saw a lot of nikon and canon dslr, as well as lenses, lining up on his table for cleaning service, inspection or repair.

Alam ko nabasa ko na dati yan na gumagawa sa likod ng megamall..nalimutan ko na pangalan..

I have experienced both CDSC and Servimax (for Olympus) before. CDSC is really *toink*. Even if you are under warranty, you still have to shell out money for repair. On the other hand, Servimax was quite okay as they did not charge me for a replacement of the card compartment cover of my E500.

I do hope Red Dot will improve over time.

pinag iisipan ko din kung kukuha ako nitong MFT cam na ito....
backup camera sana... im into freelance event photography.... currently im using D90 + Sigma 17-50 + SB 700
bossing pede kaya ito pang backup?  comparable daw sya sa D7k e...when it comes to quality ng photos..
im looking for a lighter backup camera... that can cover simple events... like kids birthday parties... mostly eto ang projects ko...

With your current rig, it looks like your D90 will be your back up camera :) several D7000 users sold theirs for this baby.

After reading this thread, I went malling to look for an OMD EM5. I wanted to handle one myself before deciding to buy one, just to get a feel. I first went to SM North Annex but was told by stores carrying Olympus that is has to be pre-ordered. I finally found a silver OMD EM5 at Infomaxx Park Square. Mind boggling price though so I scrammed like a bat out of hell.

Do you know what store has a demo unit who would allow me to play around with it?

oo nga, and the more review such as this will make you want it more. i heard that the price is about 39k more or less so not bad for one of the super prime for m43.

Kaya bang tapatan ng kitlens ng OMD ang kuha ng sigma 17-50?

Of course yung bokeh na nagagawa ng Sigma 17-50 hindi kaya tapatan ng kitlens..siggy is f2.8 all the way while the kitlens is f6.3 at 50mm..

Acting on sir Pogzz' tip, I went to SM Megamall appliance center to check out the OMD. They have a silver OMD on stock for P62k. It comes with a free Lowepro Rezo bag, 16gb SD card and tripod. They are also offering a 10% discount for cash. I think that it was a pretty good deal and I almost took the plunge. I'll sleep on it tonite and decide tomorrow if i'm going to make the switch.

direct Olympus dealers gives a much better price compared to mall prices. check out Olydealer's post in the FS mirrorless section ;)
