Olympus PEN E-P3 Review

Intro
Through the years we have
used to see APS-C sensor cameras, 1.6x and 1.5x Field Of View Crop cameras with
the likes of Canon 300D to 60D and Nikon D40 to D7000. About 3 years ago the
camera industry was shaken with the introduction of Micro Four Thirds mirrorless
cameras. These Micro Four Thirds a.k.a. m 4/3 revolutionized how an
interchangeable camera can be as small as our everyday point and shoot cameras.
The FOV Crop of this system is 2.0x making a 50mm lens an equivalent of 100mm
in 35mm full frame terms.
In this review, I was able
to try the 3rd iteration of Olympus flagship Micro Four Thirds PEN,
the E-P3. I was always intrigued with the performance of an m 4/3 camera but
luckily after attending Red Dot Philippines PEN launch I asked them if they can
lend me one for a review. This is my first time to use a Micro Four Thirds so I
will not be able to compare it to other brands or its predecessors.
